Lauren Pitre is a freelance muralist and portraitist based out of east Texas.

I’ve always found interest in art, ever since I was old enough to hold a crayon. I grew up sketching and coloring non stop. As I grew my abilities and talent grew as well. As a child I progressed from drawing stick figures to my favorite cartoon characters. As I got older it further transformed from fashion design to realistic facial portraits. The one thing that remained the same was my thirst for getting better. After graduating college with a fine arts degree I began my full time career as a freelance artist. My main passion is mural work, doing commissioned murals for neighboring cities and local businesses. My second passion, and what takes up most of my schedule, is commissioned painted portraits, such as pets and loved family members.

My style is realistic with an emphasis on color. I love being able to add as much detail and character into a mural or portrait and make it come alive, as well as enhance the color palette to make the subject pop. For any further information regarding my work or process reach out and ask.
